(for Mr. SCOTT) asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Board of Trade, as representing the Forestry Commissioners, how many smallholdings have been established in Scotland to date on land acquired by the Commissioners; the total acreage of such holdings and the average acreage and rental of the holdings; whether the rents of the holdings have been fixed by the Scottish Land Court and the holders registered as landholders or statutory small tenants; and whether, if not, he will state the reason why this has not been done and the tenure on which the holders occupy?
