I thank the hon. Member for his remarks. I would refer the hon. Member to the reply which my right hon. Friend gave to the right hon. Gentleman the Member for West Woolwich (Sir K. Wood) on the 16th February.

In view of the fact that we are asked to await developments, and seeing that the original statement was made four weeks ago, cannot something be done to expedite an answer?
