asked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he proposes to introduce legislation this Session to deal with the scrub bull, in order to put our cattle industry in a better position in view of the anti-scrub bull legislation in some competing countries?

Mr. W. ADAMSON:
I would refer my hon. Friend to the provisions of the Improvement of Live Stock (Licensing of Bulls) Bill which has now passed the Committee stage in another place. This Bill is applicable to Scotland.
As Ireland has now succeeded in eliminating the scrub bull, cannot Scotland do the same thing?
Can the right hon. Gentleman say whether the Government propose to give facilities for this Bill?
