I would refer the hon. and gallant Members to the answer which I gave on the 18th November in reply to questions on this subject, there being no change in the situation since then.

In view of the fact that the success of the schemes which have been, so far, formulated by the right hon. Gentleman and his party, has not been reflected in the figures of unemployment, has he taken any steps to consult with the Leader of the Independent Labour party?
