The total cash payments in foreign currencies (as distinct from payments in kind) made by or for account of Germany to the Allies for reparation and cost of occupation from the Armistice to 31st March, 1929, amount to 3,646 million gold marks (£182 millions at par). This figure does not include the payments received under the Reparation Recovery Levy which are technically payments in kind.
