asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies if he will make a statement on the points of dispute between His Majesty's Government and the Government of Iraq and on the possibility of the deadlock in the negotiations being overcome?
I would invite the attention of the hon. Member to the replies which my right hon. Friend gave to the right hon. and gallant Member for Newcastle-under-Lyme (Colonel Wedgwood) on the 24th of January, to the hon. Member for Northampton (Mr. Malone) on the 28th of January, and the hon. Member for Kidderminster (Mr. Wardlaw-Milne) on the 20th of February. I am at present unable to add anything to those replies.
Can the right hon. Gentleman say how long we are likely to be before we get the information?
It may be some time yet.
