asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether any recent Regulations have been introduced in Palestine on the subject of corporal punishment in prison; and, if so, whether he will place a copy in the Library?

New Regulations were made in December last which have the effect of reducing the number of prison offences for which corporal punishment may be awarded. I will place a copy in the Library.
