I have been asked to reply. 372,004 houses had been completed under the Housing Act, 1923, and 222,643 under the Act of 1924 up to the 31st December last. The average prices of non-parlour and parlour houses included in contracts let by, or in direct labour schemes of, local authorities under the two Acts during the quarter ended 31st December last were £354 and £424, respectively.
