asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he can indicate when it may be hoped that the replies of the various Governments regarding Part II of the Report on the Traffic in Women and Children are likely to be received; and how soon thereafter publication may be expected?

My right hon. Friend has no means of forecasting the action of foreign Governments in this matter, but he hopes that the Council of the League will be in a position to take a decision at its next meeting in June.

That is exactly what I cannot say. It entirely depends on the Governments.

No; I think that is a matter for the Governments themselves.
