My time is short. Finally, I would refer to the very remarkable letter which has been addressed by Sir Josiah Stamp to. the "Times" this morning. There is not a man in this House who will not recognise Sir Josiah Stamp as a master mind on this subject, and when we find that he comes to the conclusion that of the three alternatives, (1) that of the Miners' Federation, (2) that of the Commission and (3) that contained in this Bill, this is far the best in the interests not only of the miners, but of the whole industry of the country, I am sure his opinion will carry very great weight. We have had a long and rather heated Debate, and I now commend this Bill to the House in the hope that it will pass into law.
