asked the Minister of Transport whether satisfactory progress is being made with the new road between Birmingham and Wolverhampton; and when the same is expected to be completed?
Work is progressing satisfactorily, though some delay has occurred in places owing to difficulties of land acquisition. I hope that the road will be completed within about eighteen months from now.
