67.

asked the Minister of Health whether he will take steps to collect regularly from local authorities particulars of the number of houses of all kinds built in their areas, in continuation of the particulars obtained for the two years ending 30th September, 1924?

Mr. CHAMBERLAIN:

Statistics as to building under the Housing Acts of 1923 and 1924 are obtained monthly from local authorities, and as to building by private enterprise without State subsidy half-yearly to the end of March and September. I propose to continue this arrangement.

Is the right hon. Gentleman now prepared to publish particulars of houses built by special methods, which I think is rather what is asked for in my hon. Friend's question?

Mr. CHAMBERLAIN:

There is another question on that subject.
