Sir Harry Brittain
, Acton
asked the Secretary of State for War whether the personnel of the proposed commission to visit the Baltic States has yet been decided upon?
Mr Stephen Walsh
, Ince
The reply is in the negative. It has not yet been decided whether the Mission will be sent, and the whole matter remains under consideration.
Secretary of State was originally the title given to the two officials who conducted the Royal Correspondence under Elizabeth I. Now it is the title held by some of the more important Government Ministers, for example the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs.
