asked the Prime Minister what military operations are actually in process in Iraq in the form of punitive expeditions against the Kurds; and the circumstances under which these operations have been undertaken?
No such operations are in progress. The second part of the question does not, therefore, arise.
As the hon. Gentleman says there are no operations in progress, may we be furnished with a statement of the actual distribution at the present moment of our forces in Iraq, say, as between Mosul and Bagdad?
That question should be put on the Paper.
