asked the President of the Board of Education whether the Birmingham day continuation schools have been abandoned by administrative action; and, if so, why Parliament is being asked to absolve the London County Council from its statutory commitment when Parliamentary sanction was dispensed with in the parallel case of the Birmingham schools?
