asked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury whether there are any departmental classes where the classification is different for men and women; and, if so, when the Treasury intends to alter the existing classification so as to carry out Clause 2 of his Resolution of 5th August, 1921?
Perhaps the hon. Gentleman will allow me to communicate with him and give him the information?
Whatever may have been the design, is it not in fact the case that women are treated quite differently from men?
Have not communications been constantly addressed to the Treasury, and replies made in every case prepared by skilled advice so as to make it appear that it is not a real case, but the broad fact remains—
