asked the President of the Board of Education what was the total amount of grant paid by the Board in the last complete financial year in respect to the following non local education authority institutions in Wales, viz., secondary schools, training colleges, and technical institutes?

The grants paid by the Board of Education in respect of non-local education authority institutions in Wales (that is, grant not paid to or through a local education authority) in the financial year 1920–21 were as follows: Secondary schools, £97,412; training colleges (including maintenance allowances to day students), £79,326; technical institutions, £2,000.
