asked the President of the Board of Education whether he intends to introduce legislation embodying the proposals of the Geddes Committee regarding education which the Government have adopted; and, if so, will he state when the Bill will be introduced?
Legislation will be introduced to give effect to the Government's decisions on the Committee's recommendations so far as legislation is required for the purpose. I cannot name a date for its introduction.
Will that be before the House adjourns for Easter?
