I shall answer these questions together. The Chief Secretary will remain responsible to Parliament for the liquidation of all Services in Ireland hitherto administered by the Imperial Government which are not being transferred to the Provisional Government; and all questions relating to such Services as well as to the reserved Services in Northern Ireland, or to any matter which arose prior to the establishment of the Provisional Government, should be addressed to him. The Secretary of State for the Colonies will be responsible for all matters arising out of the settlement, including any question relating to the transfer of powers to the Provisional Government; and questions on these subjects should be addressed to him.
