asked the Home Secretary if he will take steps in future to prevent the issuing of bulletins concerning the health of prisoners confined in any of His Majesty's prisons?

No official bulletins are issued, though it has been necessary to answer certain inquiries made by newspapers, and so prevent or stop the circulation of unfounded reports. I have no power to prevent the friends of a prisoner from making any statements they choose to newspaper reporters.
