asked the Pensions Minister whether he has now inquired into circumstances relating to the pension to the widow of Lance-Corporal William Tenniswood, No. 501153, of the Isle of Wight Territorial Section of the Royal Engineers, who was killed on active service on the 17th May last; whether he is aware that this woman received full separation allowance for herself and three children up to 18th November last; whether he is aware that as from that date she has been awarded a pension of only 15s a week for the duration of the War and 12 months after; and whether he is aware that, despite repeated applications to the Ministry to have the matter put right, no satisfactory reply has been received?

The circumstances of this case have been fully reconsidered, and, although the events which led to the soldier's death are still somewhat obscure, it has been decided to give the widow the benefit of the doubt, and to regard her as eligible for full pension, with allowances for her children, under Article 11 of the Royal Warrant.

Will that be paid up to 18th November last?
