To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, how many claimants of (a) employment and support allowance and (b) jobseeker's allowance in Preston constituency died in 2014; and how many such claimants were on sanctions at the time of their death.

The information requested on benefit claimants by Parliamentary constituency is not readily available, and to provide it would incur disproportionate cost.

In respect of the information requested for sanctions I refer the hon. Member to the answer given on the 11 December 2014 to Question UIN 217571.
