To ask Her Majesty’s Government what was the cost to the Department for Work and Pensions of appeals against work capability assessments undertaken by Atos in (1) 2010, (2) 2011, (3) 2012, and (4) 2013.

The costs to the Department for Work and Pensions for all activity relating to appeals against the Work Capability Assessments were:

April 2012 to March 2013 - £17.1m
