To ask the Secretary of State for Defence how many soldiers who enlisted (a) aged under 18 years and (b) aged 18 years or above left the Army before completion of their Phase Two training in each financial year since 1999-2000.
Information on the number of untrained regular soldiers who enlisted in the Army aged under 18 and 18 and above and who left before completion of their Phase Two training since 2007 is shown in the following table:.

Age is on the date of intake. 3.The totals for 2012-13 relate to the period from April 2012 to February 2013. |
