To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs which UK abattoirs are licensed to slaughter horses.

Seven abattoirs are currently approved for the slaughter of horses in the United Kingdom as follows:

This list is updated monthly to reflect new or amended approvals. Approval cannot be taken as an indication that the establishment is currently slaughtering all the species for which it is approved.
