To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland pursuant to the answer of 11 December 2012, Official Report, column 217W, on sick leave, if she will make an assessment of the contribution mindfulness-based practice can make to reducing workplace stress and staff absences in her Department.

Each occurrence of sick leave in my Department is managed on a case by case basis in line with existing policies and procedures. No specific assessment of the use of mindfulness-based therapies has been planned.
