To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government how much revenue each local authority obtained from (a) planning applications and (b) section 106 agreements in (i) 2010-11 and (ii) 2011-12.
The revenue obtained by each local authority from planning applications for 2010-11 and 2011-12 is set out in the table which has been placed in the Library of the House. Planning services are also funded thorough formula grant. Section 106 agreements are sought, negotiated and applied at local authority level. There is no national record of revenue obtained through section 106 agreements by individual local authorities.
