To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions pursuant to the answer of 29 November 2012, Official Report, column 487W, on employment and support allowance, following the introduction of mandatory reassessments, what financial assistance will be available to claimants who have been found fit to work while their reconsideration is pending.
The financial assistance available is dependent on individual circumstances of the claimant. However, claimants who are disallowed employment and support allowance (ESA) are able to claim other benefits for example, jobseeker's allowance, housing benefit and council tax benefit.
