To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether she has any plans to announce restrictions on the use of the Mosquito teenager deterrent device; and if she will make a statement.

We have no such plans. It is for the police working with the Police and Crime Commissioners, and with other local agencies to decide on the most appropriate approach to antisocial behaviour in a particular area. That approach may or may not include the use of Mosquito devices, but agencies have a responsibility to communicate with people in the community, including young people, to involve them and take account of their views.
