The average number of working days lost to sickness absence by Home Civil Servant (HCS) staff within the Department for International Development (DFID), during each of the last five years, is shown in the following table:

The figures for 2012 are based on our latest sickness absence return to Cabinet Office which covers the 12 month period 1 July 2011 to 30 June 2012.
