To ask the Secretary of State for Education what statutory requirements there are for local authorities to report instances of child sexual exploitation.
While there are no statutory requirements for local authorities to report instances of child sexual exploitation in particular, it is the responsibility of all public bodies and organisations working with children to have a clear child protection policy and know how to raise concerns with the relevant bodies, including the police.
