To ask Her Majesty's Government how much public funding was provided to private clinics carrying out abortions during each of the past 10 years.

National Health Service abortion procedures are commissioned by primary care trusts (PCTs), and may be commissioned from NHS or independent sector providers. Information on the funds provided by PCTs in respect of abortions they have commissioned from independent sector providers is not collected centrally.
