To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions what the total cost to the public purse was of out-of-work benefits in each local authority area in the last year for which figures are available; and how many people had been in receipt of out-of-work benefits for (a) one year, (b) two years, (c) three years, (d) four years, (e) five years and (f) 10 years as at the most recent date for which figures are available.
