The Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) is taking no specific steps to promote energy efficient motorsport. However, various motorsport companies are involved in research and development (R and D) projects supported through the Technology Strategy Board's Low Carbon Vehicle Innovation Platform (LCVIP).
