To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government what estimate he has made of the proportion of electrical cabling installed that was counterfeit or falsely marked in each of the last five years.

No such estimate has been made. The Department for Business Innovation and Skills has commissioned the Health and Safety Executive to look into cable standards and counterfeiting but they have yet to produce a final report.
