To ask the Secretary of State for Health, with reference to Age UK and the National Osteoporosis Society's report “Breaking Through: Building Better Falls and Fracture Services in England”, if he will commission the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence to develop a quality standard on fractures excluding those of the hip and head.

A quality standard on fractures, excluding head and hip, was referred to the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence in March 2012 as part of a library of approximately 180 national health service quality standard topics.
