To ask the Secretary of State for Health what discussions his Department has had with NHS employers regarding the NHS South West Pay, Terms and Conditions Consortium.

The Department has had very limited discussions with NHS employers regarding the NHS South West Pay, Terms and Conditions Consortium. In these discussions, employers have simply kept departmental officials up to date on local developments as a matter of courtesy.
Many trusts continue to use national terms and conditions of service contained in Agenda for Change, introduced in 2004.
