In obligation year 2010-11 514 million litres (34%) of biofuel/biogas reported under the RTFO was produced from recycled food waste products. Verified data is not yet available for 2011-12. The latest reported data suggests 494 million litres (50%) of biofuel/biogas reported under the RTFO was produced from recycled food waste products between April 2011 and December 2012.
