The Government keep the tools and powers available to tackle fraud under review and are determined to strengthen the approach to tackling fraud. As part of the work in this area, the Government launched a consultation on 17 May 2012 on the possible introduction of deferred prosecution agreements. This consultation can be found at: https://consult.justice.gov.uk/digital-communications/deferred-prosecution-greements.

The Government will publish their response to this consultation in the autumn.

Such is the public knowledge that police are refusing to investigate white collar crime, that ex policemen are building their businesses on this fact, and are going to do it for them. Please see http://www.kenyons.org.uk/privateprosecutions.html

This concerns the British taxpayer, as they are not being protected by public institutions for which they pay dearly.
