This information cannot be provided in the format requested. We have provided a count of finished consultant episodes (FCEs) for women with a primary diagnosis of breast cancer and a main or secondary procedure of partial excision of breast. The data have been presented by cancer network, primary care trust (PCT) of residence and by the selected age groups. This information has been placed in the Library.
FCEs should not be described as a count of patients as the same person may have been admitted on more than one occasion. Cancer network data are not available prior to 2009-10 and therefore data from 1997-98 to 2008-09 are provided at PCT level only.
