To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what investigations have been undertaken by (a) his Department and (b) HM Revenue and Customs into the accounting activities to support tax avoidance being carried out by (i) Peak Performance Accountants and (ii) Blue Cube financial planning consultants; and what his policy is on investigating allegations of tax avoidance schemes exposed by media investigations.

HMRC investigates and challenges all forms of tax avoidance, irrespective of how it was notified to HMRC. Allegations of tax avoidance are taken seriously, and any information provided is considered in determining the appropriate response.
