To ask Her Majesty's Government, for each year between 2006 and 2011, how many of the students who completed initial teacher training qualifications did so by way of (1) the graduate teacher programme, (2) enrolment at a higher education institution, and (3) school-centred initial teacher training.

The number and percentage of initial teacher training (ITT) trainees who obtained qualified teacher status (QTS) by way of (1) the graduate teacher programme (GTP), (2) higher education institutions (HEI) and (3) school-centred initial teacher training (SCITT) in England are presented in Table A.

Figures for academic years 2005-06 to 2009-10 are provided and represent the latest available information. Figures for 2010-11 are not yet available.
