To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what consideration she has given to bringing back in house each of the contracts currently held between the UK Border Agency and private sector providers since May 2010.

Prior to contracting out a service, all options with regard to the delivery of that service receive due consideration, including whether an in-house solution is appropriate or not. Delivery of a service is contracted out to a private sector provider where it is able to deliver the service in a more efficient way, be that based on the service cost, technical capability or capacity.
