To ask the Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change what recent assessment he has made of the number of households in fuel poverty in (a) Coventry, (b) Coventry North East constituency and (c) England in the latest period for which figures are available.

In 2010, the latest year for which data are available, the number of households in England in fuel poverty was 3.5 million.
In Coventry local authority, the number of households in fuel poverty was estimated to be 26,700, and in Coventry North East constituency, 9,000.
