To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what recent assessment she has made of part 2 of the independent review of police officers' and staff remuneration and conditions.

My right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for the Home Department has referred the report's recommendations to the Police Negotiating Board, the Police Advisory Board of England and Wales and the Police Staff Council as appropriate for consideration. It will be for these bodies to consider them and report back with their recommendations, which she will consider carefully.
