To ask the Secretary of State for Transport whether her Department has a role in intellectual property policy development.

The Government's overall policy lead for intellectual property is held by the Department for Business Innovation and Skills via the Intellectual Property Office. My Department becomes involved in so far as intellectual property issues require collective ministerial consideration.
