Communities and Local Government

Tobias Ellwood (Bournemouth East, Conservative)
To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government
(1) whether he has any plans to allow local authorities to set the level of charge for retrospective planning permission;
(2) whether he has any plans to alter the charges for retrospective planning permission; and if he will make a statement.

Bob Neill (Parliamentary Under Secretary of State, Communities and Local Government; Bromley and Chislehurst, Conservative)
We are currently considering the responses to the consultation on fees for planning applications, and we will make a statement in due course.
