To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland how many officials in (a) his Department and (b) the non-departmental public bodies for which his Department is responsible are paid (i) £100,000 or more and (ii) £142,500 or more per annum in the latest period for which figures are available.

One official in my Department is currently paid over £100,000 pa. No officials are paid more than £142,500 pa.
There are currently no officials in any of the non-departmental bodies for which I am responsible who are paid more than £100,000 pa.
