To ask the Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change what steps will be taken in the event that a Green Deal assessor is reported for providing partial advice; and if he will make a statement.

The code of practice the Government will put in place for Green Deal assessors will require the assessment and associated advice to be impartial. Appropriate sanctions will be applied for non-compliance such as suspension or withdrawal of licences to operate under the Green Deal.
