To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what the level of sickness absence was for UK Border Agency staff at each airport in the last year.

For operational and security reasons the UK Border Force only publishes resource data at a regional level.

For the period of 1 January to 31 December 2011, the average number of working days lost due to sickness was 7.61 days per employee for Border Force airports. This figure includes long-term sickness.
